Gutter Cleaning Service Details

Our gutter cleaning service clear leaves, needles, moss, and roof grit from every trough, then flush each downspout to confirm water actually exits the system. We clean by hand for control and precision, using a gutter vacuum on the runs where hand access is not practical. Aidan has been cleaning gutters across Greater Vancouver for more than five years, and his carpentry background means the fascia and soffit condition gets looked at while the gutters are open, not after something fails.

Full debris removal from all gutter runs, corners, and inside miters

Downspout flushing on every drop, with a flow test to confirm drainage

Visual check of hangers, joints, and fascia while the system is open

Debris bagged and removed from site, with the work area left tidy

Priced separately, and quoted before we start:

We are direct about that second list because the most common complaint we hear about other companies is a scope surprise on the invoice. If your gutters need brightening or a downspout needs to come apart, you will know before we start, not after.

If your home already has guards fitted, removal is not always necessary. On most systems we clean the guards in place and clear the debris that collects on top of them.

Our Gutter Cleaning Process: Step-by-Step

Step 1

Walkthrough and safety planning. We assess access, ground conditions, overhead lines, and anything that changes how we work the roofline. On strata and commercial sites we confirm parking and resident notice requirements before the crew arrives.

Step 2

Before photos. Every run is photographed before anything is touched. This is your baseline, and it is also how we protect you from disputes about pre-existing damage.

Step 3

Debris removal. We clear troughs, corners, and miters by hand for control, switching to the gutter vacuum on runs where hand access is not practical. Fir and cedar needles compact into a mat that vacuums alone tend to skate over, which is why hand work stays the default here.

Step 4

Downspout flushing. Every drop gets flushed and flow tested. If water backs up, we locate the blockage and tell you whether it clears with flushing or needs the downspout opened up, which is quoted before we proceed.

Step 5

Final Inspection & Photo Review: We walk you through before/after photos and inspect gutters for any weak spots or issues.

Step 6

Clean-Up & Safe Disposal: All debris and wash water are contained, removed, and disposed of - no mess left behind.
