Why West Vancouver gutters fill up
Tall trees, hillsides and ocean weather are hard on gutters, which sets how often yours need cleaning.
- Twice a year
- Most homes on the North Shore. Cedar and fir drop needles all year, so one autumn clean does not last.
Hillside lots
In the British Properties, tall trees above the house drop needles and cones onto the roof, and they wash into the gutters with each storm. A home that is two storeys in front may be three at the back, so we set up for the height the job needs.
Waterfront and ocean exposure
In Dundarave, Ambleside and Horseshoe Bay, winter storms push rain sideways and throw debris against the house.
Large lots and long runs
More roof means more water at each downspout, and one clog can send it over the edge. That is why we check every downspout is clear as part of the clean.
What it costs
Each home is quoted from there. Many West Vancouver homes sit on steep lots with long gutter runs, so expect a quote above the minimum on a larger home. Windows or other exterior work on the same visit count toward the $350. Our gutter cleaning cost guide has more.

Yes, we seal small leaks. We don't re-hang gutters or replace sections. Tell us where it drips and we will quote it with your clean.
